Terms of service
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Firmora, a web application that helps CA firms organise compliance, documents, engagements and invoices. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. Your account
- You must give accurate details when signing up and keep your password private.
- One account is meant for one firm and can be signed in on up to two devices at a time.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Free trial
New accounts get a 30-day free trial with all features. After the trial there is a 7-day grace period. If you have not subscribed by then, your account becomes read-only: you can view and export your data but cannot add or change records.
3. Plans and payment
- Plans and prices are shown on the pricing page. GST is charged extra where applicable.
- Payment is made in advance for the chosen period (monthly or yearly). Your plan is activated once payment is confirmed.
- Plans have limits on the number of active clients. If you go above your plan's limit, we may ask you to move to a higher plan.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Your data
You own the data you put into Firmora and the documents your clients upload. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store your clients' information and for using it lawfully. See our privacy policy for how we handle data.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Firmora to break the law, send spam, upload malicious files, try to access another firm's data, or interfere with the service.
6. Not professional advice
Firmora is a tool to organise your work. Due dates, checklists, fee estimates and AI answers are provided for convenience and may not reflect every notification, extension or individual situation. You remain responsible for checking statutory due dates and for the professional work you deliver to your clients.
7. Availability
We work to keep Firmora available and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important records; you can export them at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Firmora is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including penalties or interest arising from missed deadlines. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Cancellation
You can stop using Firmora at any time. Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
